the Red NT has passed the 50K miles @ 50,540 miles yesterday 4-12-21. Bought used in Nov 2017 @508 miles awaiting silver NT push to over 200K. Silver finished @201,111 until I sold it. Red started in Oct 2018. Our old format forum software would have mileage awards every 25K miles, now we have to make our own award.

So I will start the sticker process over again with Phil's 50K sticker, and when I reach 100K, I will just double the stickers, as he ran out on 100K stickers (he sent 2). Thanks Phil

for those new members, yep a USA NT went over 200K miles, I can say, that I was the first, in about 6 yrs ,10 months (nobody beat me or it would have been reported)....................and I will do it to this one too.........when Red hits 200K, it "could" be my retirement time!!!!!! good combo!!!

David, I've got plenty of 100K stickers. When you get close, drop me a note and I'll send you one. I've got 150K stickers, too. I'm not going to buy 200K stickers unless you decide to keep the Red NT after you pass 200K.

Congratulations on reaching 50K with the Red NT.

David, I am not sure I am more impressed that you rode that NT for 200K miles or that it lasted 200K. In any case my hat is off to both of you.

I should be nearing 50K, but I haven't been faithful to the NT as of late. I had over 40K of motorcycle miles over the last year that wasn't on the NT.

it very much would have lasted much longer. it was barely using any oil, and easily could have topped 300K. i just knew it was better to start over and move all my "stuff" over to the RED before they were too hard to find. a member here on forum named "treehugger" i think, or "tree - something" in NY was selling it. he had connections to find it in Ohio and rode it to make sure it was good after being stored all those years, then sold it

We'll forgive you. 🙃
At least it was still Honda miles. What can I say, I'm a sucker for the cam gear train and 180-90-180-270 cacophony. 🎶

I just checked, as the NT usually stays on trip A odometer. 47890. Bought at sub 8K almost two years ago and has two round trip cross country rides under its belt.

I'm ready to roll over 125K. Any 125K stickers? David, what repairs other than maintenance did you do to ol' silver?

Glad to hear the 2nd NT is treating you well Dave. Congrats ! If I ride the Parkway again this year (very likely) maybe we could catch up somewhere down that way. Ride safe my friend.

just a good ole reliable Honda!! nothing on engine, not even a water pump like some had. not even the dreaded cam position sensor, but i think a couple times it might had given me trouble on hot starts, or it was the plug caps that i never had to replace. swing arm U joint about 188,000 miles

Carl, remember that the sticker goes with the bike, not the rider. If your NT is at 47K, it's only 3K away from earning a 50K sticker.

So, to the high-milers...are you all long-distance riders?
So, with a longer-trip regimen, I have to wonder how it'll work out with the NT.
Woodaddicts miles come primarily from his 70 mile one way commute. Phils and my miles are primarily from trips. When I was a worker bee I tried to take at least one long distance trip a year with many years doing several. I averaged between 8-12K miles/year. Last year I retired in May and had planned to take a very long retirement ride during the summer ala Phil's Epic Retirement Ride of several years ago. Alas, Covid reared its ugly head and my long ride was not meant to be. I had planned on attempting the very long ride again this summer but it looks like Covid will once again keep the Canadian border closed. So, I've planned several shorter trips of 2-3K miles this year. As far as the NT goes for me, it is perfect for longer trips. I think you will find it good for your long distance aspirations, but of course, YMMV.

your close, its 94 miles round trip since 2013, before that was my longest at same company (112 round trip), but we moved closer in 2013.
i also am a year long rider unless snow or ice strike! recently i have tied my best year at only 7 days in WHOLE year of NOT riding MC. thats dedication, or when i ride in cold air or rain events, the talk of the shop how CRAZY i am
