I bought my 2011 NT700V brand new on March 31, 2012 and it now has 100,288 miles on it. Here's a photo I took today of the odometer reading when I got home tonight.

Ta-Da!! Congratulations on reaching this historic milestone! You are NT-Owners.org 100K-miler # 2 behind Woodaddict. I figure I'll get there sometime around noon and about 40 miles east of Battle Mountain, NV, next Saturday.

Get me your address and I'll get your #2 100K sticker in the mail when I'm home on Wednesday.

I'm proud of you!

Way to go Will!!! I can tell by mileage you skipped the ADV tag at NC coast on way home. That's a big accomplishment to be able to beat me to 100K quicker in NT ownership time. I would like to ride your non-working commute or fun miles.
Well, anyhow if Phil wouldn't have been so lazy......he could have been #2.........:rofl1: :spsmile:

Shoot, David, if I hadn't been so lazy, I could have been #1 to 100K.

Congrats! That's a lot of riding.

Curious to see who will #4. I'm only 32,000 after two years, so it won't be me.

Thanks yeah I skipped out on the adv NC tag because of the tropical storm and the possibility of tornadoes but I did go grab the WV tag it was actually North East of Davis on a lake that bordered Maryland. I left at 9:00 A.M. and got back to the hotel at 11:00 to use there wifi to post the photos. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=374478&page=236
Then I took the scenic route home including VA 16.

From the rest of us mortals, all three of you have done an extraordinary amount of riding. Any of the top three of you have a great deal of skills to persistence to ride that far. At 35K, I'll perhaps hit 50K in a couple of years. Congratulations Rustinpeace.

Good job Will and you did it on a 2011 model. I suspect you got to 100K is the shortest amount of time.

Wonder who will be next ? It won't be me either. I just rolled 48K on my way home from the WV NT gathering. I'm just shooting for the 50K right now.

Hi Rustinpeace! It was great meeting you over the weekend in Davis and I really enjoyed your Alaska stories. Congratulations on reaching 100k. Does the NT get a wash as a reward? Seriously, best wishes and safe riding on your next 100k and beyond.

I passed 50k on the way home but I suspect my piling-up mileage on the NT will slow since I now have another street bike - a 2013 NC700X with DCT. I wanted something different and weird so I got it.

Owning two street bikes at the same time is a real luxury for me so next year I might replace my flip phone for an iPhone! NOT!

Thanks folks I didn't ride the bike very much during the first 18 months of ownership. But I just looked back at when I finally hit 50,000 miles back on April 13, 2014 and it looks like it took me almost 13 months to ride the last 50,000 miles. http://www.nt-owners.org/forums/showthread.php?8221-Award-Request-for-RUSTINPEACE!-50-000-Mile-Award.

I don't plan on washing the bike because it get's washed when it rains

and washing the bike would take up time I could spend riding the bike.

I guess the only question now is how much longer will I own this bike. It's still under warranty until March 31, 2017 though.

It'll probably be me. I'm at 98,398 tonight. Thursday morning I'm leaving to ride to Cedar City, UT. Friday I'll ride on to Alamo, NV. And then on Saturday, I'll leave Alamo on the Team Lyle Rachel Strange Insanity Days Rally, 1524 miles in 24 hours.

I had thought I was going to be riding down to Sun Honda to get a tire change and oil and filter change and that would have had me getting to 100K about 40 miles east of Battle Mountain, NV, on I-80 at about noon Saturday. But I'm getting the tire, oil, and filter change here in Greeley tomorrow, so now I'll probably be around 130-140 miles east of Battle Mountain sometime between 1:30 and 2:00 PM.

There will be pictures!
