Hi Folks,
This weekend I took a long ride that included the Back of the Dragon, which is Route 16, running north/south between Marion, VA and Tazewell, VA. It is 32 miles long, contains 438 curves, and a change in elevation of 3500 feet. It was a technically difficult road, with many steep hairpin turns, drops, decreasing radius curves, and other fun features. The NT700V was a great bike to ride on it. I saw lots of Harley "baggers", whose side cases had been shaved at their bottoms, and tons of sports bikes burbling and whining. It is definitely worth the ride if you are in the area.
