Looks like a lot of fun. I don't think I've been to the Big Bend area for just about 40 years. It was either 1974 or '75.

Great report Mellow. I'm thinking about extending the upcoming November TWT pie run in Junction out to the Chisos Mtn lodge. Would be my second visit to the park this year and ever.

I enjoyed your report! I haven't been to Big Bend since 1968! I still remember having a good time there and getting there.

Just checked. It's closer than I thought at only 550 miles.

I'll have to look into riding south to warm up when winter arrives.
