Colorado Fall Colors

I rode over Cumbres Pass, Colorado (10006ft) and over La Manga Pass, Colorado (10230ft) on highway 17, on a ride to Chama New Mexico this past weekend. I have not been down south that way in quite a few years. The Fall color changes were just magnificent. Highway 17 is a great ride over the passes. Lots of nice twist and turns. Here are a few pictures of the color change that I took.

I use the Garmin 3+for my stats, and it also gives volts and altitude. I use a Garmin 550 for routing and my music mostly. and I have a spot tracker so the wife can see that I am riding and not with a girlfriend. You can see all three in this picture. And the little purple pill holder is for two sets of ear plugs.

Great pics Chuck! I've taken the scenic train from Antonito to Chama this time of year. The scenery was much as you have photographed - gorgeous!

'04 Garmin Quest-I here... some 120,000km on it, still reliable like a Swiss wristwatch, the clocked max speed of 1,496kph/1.2mach do raise eyebrows though...
