I dropped the Yamaha on myself this winter. It was only a foot up on the lift. There was no damage to the bike because I was the cushion. It did take me 15 minutes to get out from under it. I called the Y, which is less than a quarter mile away, and they provided "Muscle" to get the bike upright. The wheels were still on the lift. It took three of us.
My XS looks like a Cafe Racer, but is not. A lot of the XS650s are being chopped and cut up making them fairly scarce in the stock configuration. Mine has Clubman Bars, Bar End Mirrors, Bobbed Rear Fender, a Bikini Fairing, 2 into 1 flat black exhaust, and a professionally done paint job. The engine is essentially stock except for the electrics and is powder coated gloss black. All the engine bolts and other visible ones are chrome. The previous owner unfortunately cut off the mounts for the centre stand because he lowered the bike by at least an inch and a half. I need to lower the foot pegs to a more comfortable position.
