How do I remove the fairing pocket covers, other than pulling harder than I've been willing to attempt. Is there a trick to it?
Thanks.

Thanks. It made perfect sense after I had it apart to see it. The illustration in the manual helped, too.

I was hoping this would be something I could replicate on my 3D printer to host switches and power outlets. Of course, I'd need to cut wiring holes in the fairing body, too, which I'd rather avoid. Maybe I can make something to fit over the handlebar clamp that's not too ugly.
I'd been hoping the fake speakers and such in the meter cover would be separate panels that I could replace with printed blanks, but they're all of one piece with the cover.

I have a power point in one pocket and filed a little relief to feed a wire out. wire still works pocket has stayed dry.

False would be fine, if they were removable. I don't want to cut the intact meter cover.
There's one on eBay with a hole already. Maybe I should get that to modify, and hold the clean one in reserve.
