All the parts arrived yesterday for fitting my Sat Nav to the Deauville.
I have the same fittings on all my bikes so I can just swap my Garmin Zumo 395LM to whichever bike I am riding.
Didn’t want to clamp the head unit to the handle bars preferring to make a bracket that will support the mount behind the screen above the instrument binnacle.
Easy job really though you have to be careful removing the Screen, body panels and glove compartments, I also decided to install a double USB and Voltmeter in one of the glove Compartments.
I wired the USB socket from an ignition switched feed and then took the power off the back of the socket for the Sat Nav.
I used two pieces of 3mm aluminum one inside the instrument binnacle and the other outside, two Ram 1” ball mounts and a 100mm arm which I will be changing for a 65mm.
All in all only took a couple of hours and well worth the effort.
