Front turn signals/running lights

Hello everyone,

Still pretty new to this bike but noticed that the front turn signals come on with the headlight much like running lights on a cage and get brighter and flash when engaged. Is this a standard feature or is this something the former owner has upgraded?

US spec only... Honda took a lot of "stuff" off for this market. HISS, 4-Way flashers, tool kit, etc....:rolleyes1:
