I purchased the Chinese one and I am still to find some "shed time" to install it. The instructions tell how you need to "teach it" to learn the gears and how to reset it if you need to.

What does it show when stationary in N and in 1st gear?
Does it show 1 if you select 1st gear after starting the engine or do you have to be moving before it indicates the gear?
