2023 Here we come ! ! 
It seems impossible that I'm only a month year from now I'll be 80. I wish you a Happy New Year!

I have the same problem Phil. I can remember when I thought 40 was old….then 50……and so on. Now I define “old” as anyone older than me. That’s you Phil even though I’ll be 80 this year also.

2022 finished horribly for me. Both my wife and eldest son were in the ER days before the new year. My son had a life-threaten condition linked to his Diabetes that required him to be hospitalized for two days. My wife was more fortunate than our son. I gave everything I had to worry about and took care of them. Both of them tested Negative for COVID-19.
Now I am getting the lead of that horrible cold my wife had. So, COVID is not a concern to me.
