Ok. Had the Honda top box for 1 year and I never liked the unfinished look of the standoffs and holes under the base bracket. Then after washing the NT one day I took the seat off and there was water leaking in around the top box standoffs into the tail light area. That was enough reason to try something else. I bought a new plastic cover piece ($13) and grommets ($8). Grommet size was 11/16 around the standoff, 1" hole in the plastic cover, 1/8" groove to fit around the cover..bought on ebay HERE. If using a 1" hole saw, these grommets fit perfect on top & bottom of plastic cover, and around standoff. End results, looks better and it won't leak now. Why grommets weren't included with the installation kit baffles me.
