Macka, once several couples who were friends were sharing and we learned that one had lost a two-year-old to cancer and one woman had a cancer that was 90% likely to be fatal. The other two couples (I was in one of the "other" couples) were embarrassed and the man who's wife had cancer said, "One thing we've learned is that everyone's pain (or problem, doesn't matter which) hurts and is a problem." You don't have to compare. Yours counts just as much.
