I love Global Warming!

What a weather swing. I got out Sunday for good ride into the foothills though it took a little work to make sure to stay out of the sand on the road from previous winter road treatments. Seventy plus degrees. Then Monday down below freezing and snow in the afternoon into the evening. And saying cold for a while here in Colorado.

Richmond RAAF base is in my local area (about 10 miles from my house) and it is a very important facility for our community. All the jet engined fire fighting planes for New South Wales are based at Richmond and the community was very moved when these brave men lost their lives while helping fight the fires.

The memorial service helped to bring closure for many of us and we are honoured to consider the lost fire fighters as “Brothers”

Seagrass, I appreciated the service your countrymen held for our firefighters. Here in Colorado, we also depend on these heroes to defend our property and lives. Thank you for caring for our brothers.
