Is an adjustable screen on a 2007 possible?

I have a 2007 and while the screen can be changed its options are either all the way up or all the way down...and only done with 10 minutes to spare and some tools. The fully adjustable screen hit the NT700 in 2008 as far as I know but I've never seen one in the flesh. Is there even a slight possibility of fitting an adjustable screen to the 07?
 
With knowing what's underneath the front cowl of an older model, who can say for sure?
 
Most of us on this Forum wouldn't have a clue -- we haven't seen an NT that was older than a 2010.
 
I don't know if the adjustable screen can be retro-fitted to the 2006/7 models but one solution I've heard of is to drill more holes in the screen.
 
I cut trimmed an inch off this one and put an MRA X-creen on it so I might as well drill some more holes also...good idea.
