Glad you got there before you got into the KLR, It will probably keep you busy

I had a 99 and it was a very good bike , not great at anything .but good at all once it got a Russel seat. I would suggest keeping a watch on your engine oil as there was a consumption problem whe they went to the updated version, KAW weaeld ourt on it by referring to the owners manual statement warning owners to check their oil. I knew of two cases of this in conjunmvtion with blown engines, kind of Denio like the BMW final drive problem. But you will enjoy it Enjoy!!
