After riding over 3000 miles to Canada and Alaska with my brother this summer. I knew I needed to find a way to stretch my legs besides standing. Lucky for me dogjaw was selling his Mick O Pegs for a great price. They arrived yesterday and I went for a ride around beautiful Flathead Lake. They are going to be a great addition to my bike. Thanks dogjaw.

Ride safe and arrive alive

Since I lowered my bike week before last, I can't dangle my stubby little legs without grazing the road. I might have to look at Mick O Pegs.

I made a bracket for M-O and lower faring, a simple metal channel cut to fit and drilled to attach both. I got over 10k on setup and even had a crash without issue to setup (M-O bent and I was able restore bend).
I don't use M-O often, but help to stretch legs on long trips. Only thing is you can not ride a curvy road and use pegs: they do scrape, but this could be a good way to learn not to panic with a little rub.

What a sad thought that the days of the "Phameous Phil Tarman" signature riding posture of dangling legs will end.

Well, Jim, you can relax. I learned today that I can dangle my legs. I just have to keep a little bend in the knee or I'm likely to skim the pavement with my boot soles.

Lee, I got my HMW roundels from:

Callie Graphics
PO Box 1541

I had green and white roundels on my two '99 Kawasaki Concours (Kawasaki Moteren Werkes) and always attended the Concour Owners Group National Rallies back in those days. The last time I attended a COG National Rally, I was on my NT and the guy who had made my KMW roundels just happened to have a pair of HMW roundels there. I bought them and over the next few weeks got more comments about my bike than I had in the five months I'd had it. People thought Honda had bought BMW (or vice-versa) or they thought I had a BMW. I don't get so many comments now, but still hear those questions occasionally.

The guy who made the original KMW and HMW roundels has gone out of business, but Callie did a good job of duplicating them at a very reasonable cost. She also made ST700 decals for Chuck Henderson (chucksklrst on our Forum) after he got Deauville big lids for his NT and decided to advertise it as an ST700 to go with the ST1300 he had then. I had Callie make some ST700 decals for my NT, too.

Thanks Phil. I was hoping you would jump in and get me off the hook. :rofl1:

Thanks Phil. My HMW and ST700 decals are shipping today. I hope the red HMW decals don't clash with my (slower) maroon colored NT. Any thoughts on how to remove the Deauville decals?

I left the Deauville decals on the big lids and put the ST700 decals on the front fairing, trying to match the location of ST1300 decals on the big bike.
