My primary wear - Alpinestar SMX5 - perfect fit, comfortable, plenty of protection and look good. I feel the shifter as I prefer. I wear these on and off pavement. Get a little hot and make feet feel nasty after all day rides. Fine in the summer, ok in the cold.
Icon Tarmac boots vented - great in summer, look good, love the ease of them. But hate the ease of them. They feel a little loose around the ankles. The sole started coming off on one of the boots in less then a month. They inspire some confidence when walking great tread pattern. These are only ankle high boots. i prefer shin high and lots of protection.
Frank Thomas boots - crap, they are hot and hurt feet after a while. Wore them through death valley in the winter and they did ok but were not comfortable for all day wear. Now they sit in my closet. protection seems ok.
