Ninety degree metal valve stems

Where do you characters find them? I may as well change them while I'm replacing tires.

By the way, searching for "metal valve stems" is a losing proposition.

Try Bike Bandit for 90 degree valve stems. K&L makes them. My dealer installed mine before I picked up the bike so I don't know what part they used.

I bought two of those metal stems from the nice folks at No-Mar when I was at an event.

The bag is labeled as "K&L 32-5419, Alum 10 mm 90 tire valve stem"

OK, I went with the K&L stems. If you do the same, take a look at the valve in the stem before you install the stem. One of my stems had the valve recessed too far to operate properly. A pressure gauge won't open the valve. Of course, I had to dismount the new tire and replace the stem with another one of the 4 that I ordered. They're supposed to be sending a replacement. The stem on the right in the pic is the offender.

I noticed a couple of these have a 11.3mm size and one is 10mm. Do both work?

Yes, 11.3 is the correct size for Japanese bikes. The 10mm ones work because there is a collar on the nut which centers the stem in the hole. You can see it in the pic I posted. The stem seals with an o-ring in a groove against the outside of the rim.
