"They absolutely suck for anything over 500 miles for a guy 6'2"." Or over 50 years old. I wouldn't want to take my '84 GPz750 farther than about 200 miles.

And I would be willing to accept the weight penalty of shaft drive.
 
IF only it had a drive shaft, I can imagine the other mods to make it a great replacement for the old version Concours With all of the other upgrades to it that many of us have done to our NT's, especialy if it had a good upgrade to the foot pegs so if you had a parking lot OH Shucks that you didn't need a $100.00 worth of foot beg brackets in the pannier to fix it, & I would imagine there is a shim bucket valve train that would go 18- 20,000 miles with out needing to be checked! Maybe it would be a upgraded version of the NT PLUS!:)
