I traded my Goldwing in for a 2025 NT 1100. Could be the biggest mistake I have made, save for a marriage or two. In order:

1. There is a lack of support from Honda on the luggage. The panniers are not in stock have not been for 2 months. No locks for the panniers or the top bag. No blue panels for the panniers in stock and no dates they might be in stock.

2. The Android auto features on the TFT screen do not work. I have both Sena and Cardo and neither one is compatible with the TFT and controls on the bike.

3. I finally was able to order the top bag and it is supposed to be here on 10222025. We will see how that works out.

Anyone have a solution for the Bluetooth communication problem between the helmet, the bike, and my phone?
Update on the availability of the panniers for the NT. January of 2026.
Thanks

Sorry you having problems. I must have been lucky to get my saddlebags right when I bought from dealer, May 3rd. Got them in about 7 business days, and installed them myself. I knew that such a new model here in USA, just better to order from dealer, than a second source that would take months to get on website. THEY DO have locks on top side. Molded right into plastic, I have them, just not installed yet as need to insert pins in proper place for key, as the Honda key will open them.

I have an android phone S22, now S25, both linked up right away for me. I have switched from icons Waze and Sirruis. The TFT screen will not work once your riding, only any buttons that you can push from left control will work

For Sena to work, have to forget connection between Sena and phone. Bluetooth has to be connected between NT and Sena. Every time you turn off, then back on, have to forget connection to phone

That is frustrating about the bags! It took a month for me to get my bike but I got the bags with it and did the install. As for the TFT I had to buy a couple of cords before I actually got a data cord so my android would work. After I got the phone to connect it was such a PIA to use it I don't even bother anymore. I installed a GPS and life became better by leaving the TFT alone.

I went from a Super Tenere, a bike I absolutely LOVED (and put 170,000 miles on it), to the NT 1100, a bike I'm still learning to like. But the NT is growing on me... Replacing a Wing is a tall order!

I also have an external GPS. My cell phone is too old and does not have Android Auto capabilities, but it does blue tooth to the bike and I can play my music from it. My kids want me to up grade my cell but I have no need to. I just installed an Eastern Beaver Aux power fuse box (PC-8R) so that is the only thing attached to the battery. I have my GPS and my aux lights now powered from the PC-8R with a splitter for a battery tender. Bought the Kit that Eastern Beaver makes for the African Twin 1100. Same frame and engine configuration as our NT1100. Expensive but quality stuff. As far as Honda panniers and top box, I ordered it all when I picked up the bike. It all took about a week to come in. I will soon have to do something about the seat. Bike is growing on me, the seat not so much. Of course I do have other bikes to ride also.

I got my NT in late June and ordered the bags at the same time. The dealer installed the locks (actually the sales guy put the locks in) and I picked up the bike with the bags installed. A week later I ordered the top case and it came in about two weeks later. I suspect that the increasing popularity of the bike and uncertainty regarding tarriffs may be contributing to the slow delivery of the accessories.

I'm running a newer, but bottom of the line Cardo unit and an old Motorola Moto G phone without any problems for my navigation. I don't listen to music or have it answer my phone or texts. (The phone is one of my older phones and doesn't even have a SIM card installed, but I have downloaded offline Google Maps into it and it works ok for navigation.) I ordered a UGreen USB A to C cable from Amazon and it works fine. I recently replaced the USB cable with a USB dongle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C539CV12?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2 and it seems to be working fine although I have only used it once since installation.

One of the first trips I took on the NT was to the west coast, wife followed in the car. She noticed at one point that we were near the Corbin place and suggested we stop in and get a seat.....of course I agreed! I've had corbins before but always mailed to me. Going to their factory was good for getting the seat, but visiting with the folks there made it even more worthwhile!

Yes, Years ago when I was visiting my folks in Marina Cal. I rode out to the Corbin factory at Hollister and had a seat build for my ST1100. They mailed my stock seat back to Colorado for me. Even then back in the 90s their factory was amazing.

Wanted to shift from 3/4 helmet to modular. 3/4 has Sena 50s, modular has 20s, but the 20 wouldn't connect to NT. Tried 3 times. So had to take 3/4 helmet. The 20s must be lower level of Bluetooth to work

David, have you checked with Sena to see if there are any software updates to your device? This may help. Sena is usually on top of things and I have found their customer service folks very helpful.

Did you see the 3 wheeled car Mr. Corbin designed? Pretty cool... He commutes in it. I got to talk with him and complimented him on his employees and I think I made a friend for life. After that he talked for quite a while, which indicates to me that he treats them very well. I enjoyed that conversation almost as much as the rest of the encounter.
Oh yes....they also took a bit longer to finish it than they originally had told us...pfft...wasnt a big deal, but they gave me some extra goodies to 'thank us for being so patient'...
All in all a positive experience!

I have a Sena 20 and it paired right away as soon as I told my iPhone to forget it.
