since I know how hard Phil is on equiptment , specially tires with all of his hot rod starts etc HEH HEH!! I think if I were replacing tires I would stay with the PR3's. I thinkwe all had good luck with them.
Seriously I had thought that my next set of new tires onNT or FJR would be PR 4's, but not now even if I was riding this winter etc.BUTT as others here have indicated ther are several other pretty good choices available. I I ran goodyear ( c-3 ??0 on my windvg ND THEY DID PRETTY WELL FOR ME UNTIL I WENT TO THE DARK SIDE , ABOUT 12 K ON REAR'S AND 13-14 ON FRONT DEPENDING ON HOW I RODE ON THEM.
cHARLIE MAKES A GOOD ARGUMENT FOR THE SHINKO, ESPECIALY IF YOU ARD DOING Y OUR OWNT TIRE WORK AND NOT PAYING SHOP RATE LABOR AND PRICING. I WOULD SAY STAY WITH RISSILLA OR ONE OF THE MAJOR WARHOUSES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF bike bandit . avoid them !!!
