When seat latch was removed, did you do anything to keep seat from sliding back, especially when pushing bike backwards like from parking spot?
I'm glad I took the suggestion to remove seat latch last Spring, even though I had re-enforced the latch area with epoxy, and had never had a problem with opening or closing the lids. One day, mid-Summer, I went to open the left lid, and it was stuck closed. When I lifted the seat off, I found a large mud-dauber nest built on the opening mechanism, keeping it from moving. (I have a pond right across the driveway from my house, so here in southern Illinois, mud-daubers are a major nuisance building their mud nests everywhere)
I find that the seat slides back now. Any suggestions to keep it in place?
Thanks
