And it's got a nifty chain, not much fairing, and no panniers!

It does look like a neat bike, though. But it doesn't check off all my requirements/preferences.

I don't care for the "stink bug" tail treatment of too many modern bikes - including the NC700X that is my NT700V's stablemate. It makes as much sense as the "bird beak" look on the ADV bikes. :shrug2:

Around 2011 I decided to stop selling off bikes I have purchased over the years and now have three distinctly different street bikes in my garage. I have had a cbr1000rr in the past and I still appreciate big powerful good handling bikes. I really appreciate the new crop of liter naked bikes with power and handling at near super sport levels. There was no way I was going to sell my vfr 800 or Bking for an NT700V so when the time was right I eventually bought one to add to my now full garage.

The NT is a relatively simple bike that has comfort, convenience and longevity that no other under a liter bike has. Variety is the spice of life.

One more shot of the high tail contemporary performance bike.

It kind of looks like the 1984 Suzuki 850 Turbo.

My best friend in High School had a 1983 Yamaha Turbo 650 Seca back in the early 90s. I was seriously jealous of that bike.

The only thing similar between the concept bike photos and the Suzuki XN85 is the name on the fuel tank!

The early Katanas took their styling from the NX85 or vice versa.

Retro is making a come back.
