There is nothing wrong with the CTX1300. It's a fine bike, I am sure, for someone who feels he needs a liter bike to accomplish whatever he/she wants. In my case a sub-liter bike works fine for what I want to do. I owned one liter bike back in 1960 and that was a H-D, which was later called a Sportster. It was an ok bike, but I preferred my R-50.
I suspect that someone will come out with a sport touring bike in the 700 to 800cc range. Until that time comes, I'll enjoy my ST-700.
