I will be 77 in Sept. I agree easy to get down on the floor, just a lot harder to get up off the floor.

Wilbers gives one oil height spec.
But this is how Honda measures oil height:
In the left fork, Honda use the "normal" way with all internals and spring removed and the fork compressed. Start with this fork. Measure from the tube lip down to the oil surface. There are generic "fork oil level" tools for this. Use the new oil height spec from Wilbers. (I lost my copy or I would post the Wilbers spec here)
In the right fork Honda measures with internals and spring installed, tube compressed.
Right Fork Procedure:
Subtract the left fork (196mm) oem oil height spec from the new oil height spec from Wilbers.
Add that difference to the (72mm) right fork oem oil level height spec. Use the procedure in the manual with this modified spec. When the manual says add oil prior to installing the fork internals, add only about a cup. Add the rest when adjusting oil height (or you'll be sorry! what a mess). Be sure to pump the tube and damper rod to eliminate any air pockets before measuring. See the manual.
Also, be sure to loosen the fork caps before removing the fork (Motion Pro "fork cap socket for Showa BPF" p/n 08-0473). Stubby metric hex keys are necessary for the triple clamp.
Once the fork is off the bike, compress the fork slightly and unscrew the tube from the cap. Have a couple "stopper rings" on hand just in case. They're cheap.
