Has anyone tried replacing stock spring with Hyperpro progressive spring on stock shock?

i'll just add on to this post......just noticed in last 5 days my rear stock shock has exploded with oil. just changed rear tire Sunday was not like that. first noticed like oily film around rear drive unit on bottom while up on center stand while leaving work this morning. examined at home, big blob at end of shock, blew back on center stand, kick stand, and shaft drive enclosure / final drive. looked with flash light up in there, don't see any coming from rear of engine. so before ordering a new shock body, i'll take off seat and maybe side panels and look further. but pretty sure its shock. at 91,610 miles now. happy with stock, so will just order another stock shock body
