Triumph makes the Explorer

After riding a few budies bikes with no ferrings I won't buy anything without a ferring. Long distances without wind protection suck to say the least. But other than that its a nice looking bike

I think that some of the "adventure" bikes, particularly the GS's actually have pretty good weather protection. Nobody ever talks about wishing they had more with them. But maybe when you're riding an adventure bike you're just tough enough not to need no steeenkin' weather protection.

Some might say that this is what the NCX should have been.
Not me.. Honda is coming out with the Cross Tourer which should be in the same category as the explorer. The NCX is much lighter and in my opinion and dual sport 'looking' bike that is really meant for street action. There are so many Dual Sport bikes out these days and they are all a different percentage of Dirt or Street so it's really tough to compare apples to apples.. But, great to have so many options to address many customer needs.
