You know what I really like about this site?

Well, OK. It is about motorcycles and biased toward touring, contains lots of useful information, and is populated by some really great people.

What I mean, though, that I wish that more forum type sites had?
I really like the notepad that is in the Settings menu up in the right corner. I use it to bookmark and comment threads that I want to keep track of.

Another great point is that our NT site doesn't have to usual petty bickering and flame throwing, other than the riders with silver bikes claiming they're faster than the red or black bikes! Or is it the other way 'round with red being faster?

There are no OEM Red NTs in North America. There are Maroon, Silver and Black...:wink:

EVERYBODY "knows" the silver ones are faster because the paint weighs less. Also, cruisers (HD?) are awful unless ridden by members of THIS board.

The TWT Pie Run in May is at the 7th Street restaurant in Cushing. I'm planning on going. Maybe turn it into a three day trip to East Texas. Hope to see yall there.

I thought the silver ones were slower because the silver pigment was heavier so the paint weighed more

Greg, I though anything east of Midland was "East" Texas. Or is it sort of like Illinois being a midwestern state even though it is east of the Mississippi River and much closer to the east coast than west coast?
