For me it would be just the opposite. Get on the road, twist the throttle, see flashing lights, pull over. Repeat ad infinitum. :)

Thanks for your thread on superchargers vs. turbochargers. It is by far the best piece I have read on that subject--better than the tech guy in Cycle World.

Wow, You are right, Phil. My apology to Charlie. Charlie, that was a fantastic writeup on Turbo vs Supercharger. I have a Banks Turbo on my 95 Suburban Diesel and that turbo has a lag. Of course on a vehicle that heavy, the lag is not that noticable.
