At appears that H-D is trying all sorts of ploys to get people interested in riding their motorcycles. None of the findings of this UCLA study are a mystery to people who ride regularly. I almost always feel refreshed and renewed when sitting at home after a ride! :)

This is very common practice in academia. You need funding for projects to keep your profs busy and bring in bucks. So you take HD's money and do the research. I am sure there is no pressure to come up with the findings sought after by the customer. :)
 
Certainly not in the same category but for decades, the medical profession told us that smoking was not harmful. :-(
 
Pay enough, or "donate" enough, and most groups can be convinced to say about anything...:rolleyes:
 
I knew that a long time ago. It's been my therapy for many years.

It's a lot cheaper than my insurance co-pay to see a therapist twice week. The best part is that no couch or sharing of your feelings is involved.

Unless the Director of HR at your work mandates you go to therapy. Then you might see a motorcycle parked outside a Therapist's office. ;)
