NEVRDULL is not abrasive.hmm... I'm weary on using anything abrasive on aluminum as it removes the protective oxide layer... hence they're corroding even faster...
A surprising wheel cleaner/brake dust remover: any "plastic care product" like AmorAll (which is bad for plastics anyway... makes them brittle, prone to cracks...)
But that oily stuff is really good for cleaning those wheels; just don't get it on your tires over above side effects...
Pun intended I don't bother with the cast partsGood topic. I've found the rough casting on the spokes and hub of the NT are hard to clean. Even the pressure washer has a hard time with it. I think the NEVRDULL will work nicely on the machined parts of the wheel, but not the cast parts. Looking for recommendations.
I would try either Bar Keepers Friend, or Bon Ami. The texture of the cast wheels requires a stiff bristle brush along with a mild abrasive to get down into the "pore" of the cast. Don't use Comet or any cleanser with Chlorine. Bar Keepers Friend and Bon Ami use feldspar as the abrasive which is very mild.Good topic.
