Hello from Northern Utah

I was up there (Logan, Bear Lake) last weekend. I ran into another Utah NT owner at Lava Hot Springs.
I haven't ridden up to Lava in a few months, but I was in Soda last month. I just got my NT today; we'll have to see about putting a Utah group together.

I'm going to start a thread in the Events section for Utah/Intermountain West area. Maybe we can plan a group ride or get-together.

Sounds good. I got home today from the NT's maiden voyage. West on the loneliest hwy to the coast up to Wa and looped back home. The bike was flawless! Well....except the seat. :)
Actually I guess the 'maiden voyage' was when I went to Lava.....meh.

That's quite a break in ride! I haven't ridden or driven US 50 (yet) but I have been through Ely on US 93, years ago riding from Washington to Las Vegas, on an R100/S airhead, wearing a horsehide jacket and jeans. It was HOT. I rode up to Lava Hot Springs with a friend on Friday, stopping for lunch and then returning via Clifton and Dayton. I have about 275 miles on the bike and will put another 30 or so on it today or tomorrow. I'm planning a ride up to Jackson Wyoming in the next week or so. So far the bike is just about perfect. The seat isn't bad for me; I'm using a BadAss ventilated cushion, but I'll reserve final judgement until I have at least 1000 miles on the bike. The only thing I would change at this point would be to lower the pegs a bit, and I a Powerbronze 665 mm windscreen on order.

How many miles/days was your loop?
