Happy 250th to you and to all vets that made this possible. It is quite the story. I like Ken Burns specials and the one on the Revolution really openned my eyes as to how hard the revolution was. There was much suffering like in any war. It took the UK the better part of 2 years to ship all the Tories to Nova Scotia.Happy 250th Birthday!!!

Hillsdale College in Michigan is a private college that accepts NO (zip, zilch, nada) government funding nor does it allow any of its students to have any government funded student loans thus it has complete control of its curriculum. It offers to the public, free of charge numerous online courses on American History, logic, US Constitution and its newest course, Revolutionary America. The courses are totally free but they will ask (politely) for a small donation to continue their free courses. I have taken several of their courses and they are all excellent and I highly recommend them.

That's cool! I remember to this day my fifth grade teacher coming to school scowling and telling us kids our school system has decided to take US govt funds and batten down the hatches.
My wife had to get up early so we didnt go to the show but thats OK. In a few weeks I will see one of the most awesome night time airshow/drone/fireworks displays on the planet.
Drone shows are amazing. A Big prop turning in the air over OSH.
Nothing says America like the night airshow at OSH.
