I know we all have real problems in our lives...this is nothing but a bit of agravation...I am just venting. Dont know if I should laugh or cry.
1. Frosty sends me a link to FB...no more e scooters allowed at Oshkosh. Motorcycles, sure. Bicycles...no problem....e bikes, bring them. Leave your e scooter at home.
2. I decide to ride to the post office and get the mail and check out the pawn shop next door for bicycles to see if I can still ride one with my knees.
3. Post office. I get a package that is soaked from the inside in liquid lawn fertilizer. Worker bee marks it as damaged.

4. Strap to bike luggage rack.
Go into pawn shop after looking at bikes in rack outside
5. Worker bee says he wont pump up tires so I can ride the bike. No Idea how to work gears... I want for osh...take it or leave it... $169. I can sit on it if I hand him my drivers license.
6. Ride home. Wash fertilizer off of bike. Clean up everything in box.

Get on amazon web site.
7 Tell AI bot my story. Bot connects me to human bean in India on chat. Tell my story to Human.
8. Human asks me all sorts of questions and apologizes alot. Puts me on hold numerous times.
9. Finally agrees to refund the amount of one bottle of Scotts turf builder fertilizer
What takes five minutes on Ebay takes 30 on Amazon.
At least the bike is clean.:rofl1::rofl1::rofl1:

Buy one of those folding e-bikes at OshKosh? They were nice and not too expensive. Easier to load than mine.
Boy, the ones I saw at OSH last year were very expensive. The ones on the web, well, $366 buys what looks like a good one. 700 buys a folder.

????? Got me, see below for new rules. This is in the huge campground. Nothing is allowed in the exhibit or flightline areas. About 1 mile to get to the nearest entry point. I got a Jetson OTG (not kidding) e-bike from Costco last year ($550)... head light, tail light, turn signals, disk brakes, three speeds (18 mph max motor only). In the 10 days that I was there, I put on 48 miles (it has a digital odometer). After walking around an airport, you do not need more exercise.

What was their reasoning for bannnig scooters?
Imagine 15,000 people camping, many 1 mile from show sentence. Now imagine underaged kids on high powered scooters breaking the 10 mph speed limit, zooming around and past a sea of humanity on one, 1 mile road. People get hurt. Most of the 15,000 are wealthy...and entitled. Many lawyers
