Finally took off the Honda stickers on the fairing and replaced with Honda badges.
Stickers come off with a hair dryer. I left the sticker residue on until after the badge was on because 1) make for good reference marks to get even and same place and 2) it's glue. :)
Badges are flat and need to be rounded slightly to conform to fairings shape. I rounded by rolling badges over a 1" pipe/conduit. Sure there are many better ways of bending them, but it worked with no damage. Badges are surprisingly rigid and needed lots of my week arm strength to bend.
Badges have a polished finish on the edge that matches nicely with the Deauville badge on the large lids.
Badge part numbers are 64508-mfl-000 and 64503-mfl-000.

Looks good, Dan. Do they have a badge with a silver background?

I did see some black backgrounds with a silver wing and text on the U.K. eBay site....that should look good!

That would look good. But I don't think I want two badges. The wing decal probably looks better with the HMW roundel than a Honda badge would.

But thanks for being my research assistant. :)

I like the look. I spent a few minutes at a dealer looking at different bikes to choose the appropriate badge last year. I never did follow up. Ron Ayers wants $21.61 each. I think I'll leave mine naked and invite the question, "What is that?"

edit: I've also looked at vintage badges at the flea markets at vintage races. Those are seriously expensive.

George, that's a decent price. I paid $19.73 each from the Honda dealer in Olymia, WA. I think I first saw the badges I have on a VFR1200, and the badge is on the 2012 Goldwings, CBR1000RR, & DN01.

I spent a great amount of time searching for original plastic 1960's "Honda 125" badges. The reproductions weren't anything near the original in appearance. The original plastic badges melted, warped, cracked and are now rare and expensive. Never did find any NOS plastic badges, they're gone too. So since the model I wanted the badges for was originally sold with either plastic or aluminum badges, I have original aluminum badges.
Any 1960's model Honda plastic tank badges are in demand.

I removed the Honda decals, but, have not put anything on there yet. Will also remove the NT700V stickers on the bags one of these days.

Not sure if I want some custom graphics, or the red and white HMW Phil started. If I go the HMW route I'll also make up some F700RT stickers. ;)

LOL, Charlie. I'm thinking that after I repaint my panniers, I'll probably order some of Chuck's ST700 decals.

Interested in this thread as I have an ex 'Presidential Escort' Deauville which had been stripped of all decals and badges apart from the front Honda Badge. As the bike was in an Army Green colour it needs something to lift the dull look. Must look into this.

Badges look great ;
