I bought a set of the contimotion tires last year and was pleased with them, I believe they were $200 for the pair. 3500 miles in and my back tire is almost there, front still good (50%+) and worn very smoothly and evenly. I am a fairly fast rider and have found them quite satisfactory, if not quite as good as premium ST tires. I was able to slide the rear a few times at full lean and WOT, messing around doing gymkhana. Probably not the best for a big power bike, but worked well on the NT.

At this time, I can't find a replacement rear tire in the Contimotion. I don't really want to toss the still good front. Any suggestions for something to spoon on the back? It seems that the days of $100 rear tires are behind us.

Perhaps the Kenda KM1 rear tire. It's not a 150/70; but rather a 160/60.

I would get a 150/70 and keep the front you have.

I ended up ordering a Pilot Road 4 in correct size for $162.08 including tax from eBay. A little more than I wanted to spend, but a good value for that tire I think.

I got back from a ride today and am just to the center left wear bar, so the timing is right.
