Growing old disgracefully
I did Eldon but lost
So now help us who don't know about clutch cable maintenance
I ask a similar question of a old mech years ago, his reply was OFTEN
Eldon
I don't think "often" is true anymore. The cables Honda uses have a liner that's friction free. I've never lubed my cable. The pivot point is another deal. This cable's got over 60K miles on it.So now help us who don't know about clutch cable maintenance - what kind of oil or lubricant do you use, and how often?
I use ACF-50 but ordinary oil like engine oil or 3 in 1 will do. http://learchem.com/industry/motorcycle.htmlSo now help us who don't know about clutch cable maintenance - what kind of oil or lubricant do you use, and how often?
