Another 1300-acre fire in south Arkansas today. Down by Camden. Here at home, you could see a very small amount of smoke in the air and a few tiny bits of ash on the ground.
At home here we got a little relief, last Friday a good rain (3.5 inches) was enough to cancel the burn ban (maybe for just a short while). I actually had grass greening up almost immediately after that rain.
