FOBO TPMS Warning

I went to buy a TPMS for my new NT1100 and got the FOBO Bike 2. To use it you have to install their new FOBO TPMS software on your phone which requires Always On access to your location, Wifi and camera.
I returned it and am going with Sykik. Not endorsing it, since it hasn't even arrived yet. I just know it doesn't get into my phone.

If you're like me and concerned about privacy, you might want to look elsewhere than FOBO.

Yeah, some of the permissions on apps are only related to data mining...

I have the Sykik devices on several of my bikes and I have been very pleased with them.

I bought a FOBO TPMS a few years ago. Found out about the location permissions after it showed up. Short story, I never installed it. Still sitting in the box somewhere
