I am so tired of people with US vehicles opening and locking their doors at camp grounds and motels and beeping their horns just because they can. Now, there is a car/truck that triple beeps the horn. Is this garbage allowed in other countries? I can beep my car horns but I have to work at it.

Most of the vehicles I am familiar with give the owner the option of beep or no beep upon locking/unlocking. Never heard the triple beep....... yet.....

... chirp-modules never got a real thing over here; turn-signals flash once upon locking, twice when unlocking (or triple/quad if the alarm has been triggered...)

Correct. My cars all this century all work that way. Except my New 2025 Subaru which just blinks the turn signals and you can here the door solinoiids. And of course they have a panic alarm that does blare the horn if you wish it. My 2004 CRV will blow the horn if you push the lock key fob twice. Personally, I think these bullies are lazy and just want to glare when the horn blows and say to the world, "what you gonna do about my ability to disrupt your peace with my horn?" Kind of like Harley riders who have stereos that blare music or who blip their throttle.

Depending on model... like holding lock/arm for +10 seconds...
OTOH do we have a limit of 20 seconds flash/sound with max 3 repetitions on any alarm kit... (unless its a vehicle with aftermarket stuff from the eastern countries... they don't give a $*!t...)
