Has anyone ever had catastrophic sidestand failure?

kee[a [;astic foot on tamlbag dor questionable surface parkingever had it fail me, we could cal it a AtI -NAP foot. used tp use a beer can/ pop can compressed but with the foot secred to my tanlbag it stays with me even when I forget abo ut itEhich I do occasionly!

I had the Main stand snap at about 65,000 miles on my NT. I don't sit on the bike and "rock" it off the stand.
One of my Moto Guzzi's stripped out the aluminium locking piece of the side stand within a few months, 25,000miles, (replaced with a steel one). However, the bike was my home and was carrying everything I owned and was mounted using the left on the footboard method.

Like Eldon (EX-WINGER), I've had the sidestand sink into soft asphalt and lay the bike on its side, but I've never had a sidestand snap.
