Correct. But wind speed is wind speed and trees dont care, it seems....one dead so far. Ran my Honda Generator for five hours and lit a fire as the house temp dropped. Then Lights on at 5:20 pm. Snow tomorrow. Then a much more minor wind event. We have been here for all these events plus ice storm 1996.I don't think you had a true hurricane in Spokane as it lacked the rotational aspect of a true cyclonic storm. It was just a freak storm fed by a cold front reacting with an atmospheric river. I hope that there were ways that the PNW could sequester that moisture as it would come in handy during the dry season.

Let's have good thoughts for Chris's camp ground.I don't think you had a true hurricane in Spokane as it lacked the rotational aspect of a true cyclonic storm.
