Well if Sturgis infected 250,00 Americans the party bums this last weekend should have infected millions. Time to get over Sturgis and look at the big picture...it is a lot worse.

It would really have been a tough calculation. While its true that the AVERAGE hospitalization costs $50,000, of course many were not hospitalized, while others died. Once infected, one gets many tests which are not cheep. While documented people were killed, this study would not have identified them. so what is a day off work worth? 2,3,4? Infecting other people? The true trickle down cost of an infection is very hard to calculate. The local news says that little Spokane WA has lost 100s of Millions of dollars of lost business.
