Johnny, the one on the left looks like a Skidmarx to me. I think they're still available in the UK. I don't know anything about the one on the left. I know people who have been very happy with the Skidmarx.

I rode my NT without one for 9 years in all seasons and never saw the need to install the Honda unit that I had purchased. I just wore touring boots and my feet stayed reasonably warm in the winter and dry in the spring rain.

I've got the Honda OEM undercowl. This one is a bit different from Honda's, but just looking at your picture, I'm guessing it would work about the same. The answer is not quite. It does a lot better than nothing, and keeps off some water and some wind. My feet have never gotten wet inside my TSX X-5 Gore-Tex boots and my lower legs stay dryer, as well. I had a Fenda-Extenda on my first NT and that helped, too. I've got one for my current bike, but just haven't gotten around to installing it.

I tried to order the bug spoiler / under cowl, mentioned above, from Power Parts Hinz, but they don't provide a way to ship to the USA. I did send them an email asking if they would sell to USA customers.
