So this past Sunday; 8/31/2025; I attempted to take the NT for a ride.
But battery, without any prior warning, said "Nope, not today sir."
So instead took Griso out for a ride that day and yesterday.
Today, I went to the East Penn Manufacturing Deka Factory Store, in Lyons, PA: Deka Factory Store
The place is only 20 miles from my house.
So as part of buying Made In America, Made In PA, and buying local; I buy vehicle batteries from there whenever possible.
While my battery tender and multi-meter both said battery was still good. I just did not believe them.
So at this store; I had them do a load test on the battery. AND instead of 230 cold-cranking-amps; it only had 53.
So yea; that battery was toast.
In addition to buying Made In America and Made In PA; this place is also a way to save some $$.
The last time I bought a battery for the NT, was exactly 6 years ago; almost to the day.
That battery was a Yuasa YTZ14S; for $202.
Today's Deka cost $81.
