Got the new black lids installed. I like the looks.

Now a good wash and see what can be done about the faded plastics.

I haven't found any solution to bring back them to their original color, except to sand (which removes the top texture) and paint them. Which I did. Then I added a clear coat on top of the paint. Some part are holding fine, some not so (ones which have regular contact like cubby lid etc).

So my next step would be to use spray on plastic dip.

Also, some parts are cheap, eg the tip over wing plastics are like $8 a side.

Couldn't get the stock latches to work right, so I put those on both sides. They work well. My bike is dirty from a long trip. I will get after it soon.
