I sold my last sport bike 20 years ago, forgot how much fun they are. Rode some demo bikes at the I M S show in Glendale AZ last weekend, had a blast on a Yamaha YZF R3 a 300 cc mini sport bike, had to have one. Brought my ride home today.

Nice bike, Roy. I traded my 2007 Ninja 250R in for the NT-700. Wish I still had the little Ninja. Then there is only so much room in the garage. I just bought a Shelby GT. Now I have the NT-700, Yamaha XS-650 Cafe Racer, and the Shelby. Looking forward to a good summer.

Nice bike, small sport bikes, and dual purpose, can be a blast. My first "new" bike was a Yamaha RZ350. Fun to ride and great for killing mosquitoes!

Looks like a great ride for short trips. How tall are you and do you have to bend your legs a lot. My replaced knee would probably not be happy.

Terry

I'm 6' 1", riding position is mostly upright with small backward bend of the legs not bad, not much different than the NT.
I rode around 100 miles today, no problem.

Congrats on the new ride. These little bikes can be a blast to ride around town. Last May I picked up a garage find for a reasonable price. A 1993 XT350 in excellent shape, with 1300 miles. Had to go through it and do the service and maint as it sat for many years, but it was taken care of. I call it my girlie bike because of the color scheme It is a blast to ride around town.

A ride on my son's sport bike (Daytona 675) prompted me to buy my NT. Still glad it did.

Hmmm. A Shelby GT or a Ninja 250 R. Decisions, decisions.

John, I could not resist the 2007 Shelby GT. It is a 5Sp, Black and Pewter, Grey leather interior, Numbers matching, with 3500 original miles on the clock. The car is a "Trailer Queen" having gone from car show to car show. The car needs to be driven--and will be during the summer. The price was right.
