NT700 pannier/liner sizes?

Why do sellers offer the RHS liner in a significantly smaller size? 🤔
That did apply to the NT650V, but the NT700 panniers appear pretty equal to me...
I intentionally equipped my GF's ride with two LHS panniers, which fit either side perfectly...

Stumbled over Bestem recently, and again, RHS bag much smaller then the other side...

The RHS liner and pannier is somewhat smaller due to the clearance required for the exhaust.

I have a pair that have traveled across the country, and they work like a charm.
 
Years ago when I brought my NT 700 I discovered that the student backpack was the ideal size, shape and width for use with the small saddlebag lids, that is what I have been using for years.
