I have had norovirus 4 times. I camp 25+ days a year and use porta potties. Since alcohol doesn't kill the virus, unless you break the chain, no one washes their hands between toilet seat and door knob. About all you can do is scrub your hands afterwards. Unknown if triple antibiotic ointment kills it. Will ask doc.

When I traveling on my motorcycle I take a package of baby wipes to which I’ve added some alcohol and just a dab of bleach. I wipe down before getting in my sleeping bag.

I actually found some Clorox wipes in a pouch. $1.25 for 9 wipes. There is a disclaimer that these shouldnt be used for wiping down body parts but oh well. Bleach mixed with water at a 1:9 ratio (i.e. 10 percent bleach) is potent for about a day (it's more unstable in its diluted form). If you plan to use a bleach solution over the span of a week for repeated disinfection, Curriden recommends mixing it at a 1:4 ratio (20 percent bleach) to make it last.
